GlowNow is a marketplace that helps clients find independent beauty providers and trainers. The provider who accepts the booking supplies the treatment or course. GlowNow supplies the matching, protected communication, payment and support tools.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate, current information. Keep sign-in and booking links private and tell us promptly about unauthorised access. We may limit or close accounts used for fraud, unsafe activity, harassment, spam, impersonation or attempts to bypass platform protections.

Requests, matching and confirmation

A client request is not a confirmed appointment. GlowNow first checks the exact treatment, location, availability, qualifications and other relevant criteria. A booking becomes confirmed only when the selected provider accepts and the required payment step is completed or the booking screen expressly says it is confirmed.

Availability, ranking and journey estimates are not guaranteed. Prices, duration, add-ons and provider details shown before payment form the booking summary. Please review them carefully.

Protected communication

Clients and providers must use GlowNow's protected chat for booking communication. The service may block phone numbers, external contact details, business names or addresses intended to move a booking off platform. Public profiles use a provider's first name and limited service information. Private arrival details are released only at the protected booking stage.

Prices, deposits and payments

The booking screen shows the estimated or agreed total, the secure deposit, any amount due later and any platform fee before payment. GlowNow currently sets the client platform fee to 0%, but provider fees or future pricing may be changed prospectively with clear notice.

Card payments and provider payouts are handled by our payment processor. A payment may be refused, delayed or reversed for security, compliance or technical reasons. Providers are responsible for their own tax, insurance, licences and business obligations.

Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

• Before a provider accepts, a client may withdraw the request without a GlowNow cancellation charge.
• For a standard booking, the displayed deposit is normally refundable when the client cancels at least 24 hours before the appointment.
• Advanced or higher-value treatments may use a 48-hour cancellation window and a different deposit, shown before payment.
• Last-minute bookings made within 24 hours may have no free cancellation window. This is shown before payment.
• For a late cancellation or client no-show, some or all of the displayed deposit may be retained under the booking-specific policy.
• If the provider or GlowNow cancels and no suitable replacement is accepted, payments for the cancelled booking are refunded.

The booking-specific policy shown before payment controls where it is more favourable or more specific. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights. Refund arrival time depends on the payment provider and the client's bank.

Treatments, safety and qualifications

Providers must offer only treatments they are trained, insured and legally permitted to perform. GlowNow may require identity, insurance, portfolio, qualification or licensing checks before advanced services can be activated. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee of outcome.

Clients must disclose relevant sensitivities, allergies, contraindications and patch-test needs truthfully. A provider may decline or stop a treatment where it would be unsafe. Seek qualified medical advice for health concerns; GlowNow does not provide medical advice.

Provider and trainer onboarding

A beautician application may require a £50 onboarding fee. A valid GlowNow invitation code may waive that fee. Payment or invitation does not guarantee approval, ranking or client volume. Applications may be refused where identity, safety, insurance, qualifications or marketplace standards are not satisfied.

Trainers must describe courses, credentials, outcomes, dates, prices and accreditation accurately. A listed course does not become accredited merely because it appears on GlowNow.

Reviews, photos and community content

Content must be honest, relevant and lawful. Do not post personal contact details, private addresses, discriminatory material, threats, copied work without permission or personal advertising in community areas. GlowNow may moderate, redact or remove content and may investigate suspicious reviews.

Problems and complaints

Use the booking support tools as soon as possible and include relevant evidence. GlowNow may request information from both sides, pause a payout, arrange a replacement, issue a refund or credit, or refer the parties to the provider's complaint process. Outcomes depend on the booking record, evidence, applicable policy and legal rights.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, GlowNow is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses suffered by consumers, or failures caused by events outside reasonable control.

The independent provider remains responsible for supplying the treatment or course with reasonable care and skill. GlowNow remains responsible for the marketplace services it directly supplies.

Changes, suspension and law

We may improve or change the service and may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be shown before they take effect where appropriate. We may suspend features or accounts to protect users, comply with law or resolve security issues.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in another UK court that applies to them.
