Privacy Policy
GlowNow London is a private beta project for matching London clients with beauty providers. This policy explains what personal data is collected during the beta and how it is used.
Who controls your data
The data controller is the GlowNow London private beta launch team. GlowNow is not yet operating paid marketplace bookings. For privacy requests, use the beta request form and write "Privacy request" in the notes.
Data we collect
- Name, email address, phone number and London area.
- Whether you are a client, beautician/provider or venue partner.
- Service interest, launch notes and onboarding details you choose to submit.
- Provider onboarding details such as insurance status, licence status, borough, services and portfolio link.
- Payment-intent details such as requested service, area, preferred time and selected payment amount.
- Basic first-party event logs, such as page view and form submission events.
- Technical metadata such as user agent and submission time.
How we use data
- To review private beta requests manually.
- To contact you about the request you submitted.
- To understand launch demand by area and service type.
- To improve safety, onboarding and marketplace design before paid launch.
- To prepare Stripe Connect onboarding and checkout where payment features are activated.
- To send launch updates only if you opted in to marketing messages.
Legal bases
GlowNow uses consent where you opt in to marketing, legitimate interests to review beta demand and improve the service, and pre-contract steps where you ask to be contacted about bookings, onboarding or partnerships.
Where data is stored
Private beta submissions are currently stored on GlowNow's VPS in structured log files. Access is limited to site administration. Before paid bookings launch, GlowNow should move operational records to a dedicated database with appropriate backup, deletion and access controls.
Payment processors
When payment features are activated, GlowNow expects to use Stripe for card processing, connected provider onboarding and provider payouts. Card details should be entered on Stripe-hosted checkout or onboarding pages, not stored by GlowNow.
How long we keep data
Beta enquiries should be reviewed and deleted when no longer needed. As a working rule, GlowNow should delete inactive beta enquiries within 12 months unless a person becomes an active client, provider or partner.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or withdraw marketing consent. Use the beta request form and write "Privacy request" in the notes.
Marketing
GlowNow will only send launch marketing updates where you have opted in. Service replies about a request you submitted may still be sent without marketing consent.
Changes
This policy may be updated as GlowNow moves from private beta to a live marketplace. Material changes should be reflected on this page before launch.
